Dorothy Ellen Johnson's Obituary
Dorothy Ellen Johnson, age 95, of Ravenna died Thursday, November 3, 2011 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Dorothy was born on January 14, 1916 in Grand Rapids, MI to the late Ray and Gertrude (Roetman) Busk. She married E. Roy Johnson on February 5, 1938 in Comstock Park, MI and he preceded her in death on February 7, 2002.
Dorothy is survived by 2 Sons: Richard (Nellie) Johnson and Dale (Caroline) Johnson, both of Ravenna; 1 Daughter, Maureen (Carl) Hogan of Ravenna; 6 Grandchildren and 14 Great-Grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by 3 Brothers and 2 Sisters.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 11:00am at the Ravenna United Methodist Church with Pastors Carl Black and Stephen VanderWoude officiating. Visitation will take place on Friday, November 4, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 6:00 to 8:00pm at the Throop Funeral Home of Ravenna. Burial will be in Ravenna Township Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to the Ravenna United Methodist Church or Harbor Hospice.
