On August 4, 2010, Dorothy Vander Laan Crowley slipped away from those who loved her here on Earth and into the waiting arms of those who have gone before. Mrs. Crowley was born in Muskegon, Michigan July 11, 1917 to Henry Wortelb Read Obituary
To the Vanderlaan/Crowley families,
I did not know that Dorothy had died until I seen Kay at our 50th class reunion.
I am so sorry for your loss and you all have my deepest sympathy. It is never easy and may God give you the strength to take each day at a time.
Dorothy is now playing cards up in Heaven with her family and friends and with my folks too!! May God Bless all of you and hold you in His loving arms.

I love you Grandma!!! Thanks for all the great memories we have. I set here and think of what a GREAT women you were to all of us Crowley grand kids. We all thank you for the great euchre games we had. I will never forget the yard sales we had and my yellow bike I got to ride around and around your driveway, while our kool-aid stand was out front. We never sold much but some how money always showed up in our jar. WE LOVE YOU GRANDMA!! I gave you a brand new deck of cards because I know you don't like sticky ones!!!!!

I am so sorry to of your loss. I most fondly remember the nights mom and I were able to spend together in Dorothy's basement doing ceramics. It provided us great mother/daughter time. My prayers are with you as you celebrate her life.

I will miss you grandma. Thank you for teaching me Euchre. I love you and you miss be missed, but I will always have the fondest of memories. I wish I could of visited more and seen you more.
