Dorothy Jean Walicki's Obituary
Mrs. Dorothy Jean Walicki, age 90, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2019 in Muskegon. She was born in Muskegon on November 6, 1928 to Alex and Mary (Sukra) Maxin and was a life-long resident of the area. Dorothy was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She was a devoted mother and always put her family first. On November 12, 1949, Dorothy married Wallace F. Walicki in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on November 30, 2018. She is survived by three children, Kathy (John) Jolman, Ronald Walicki, and James (Brenda) Walicki; six grandchildren, Matthew Jolman, Melissa Jolman, Sarah Walicki, Anne Walicki, Robert Walicki, Ashley Walicki; three great-grandchildren, Collin, Paschal, and Pierce; two brothers and five sisters. In addition to her husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Maria Walicki. According to Mrs. Walicki’s wishes, a private burial took place at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
