Mrs. Dorothy M. White's Obituary
Mrs. Dorothy M. White, age 94, passed away early Friday morning, June 29, with her family present. She was born April 1, 1918 to Edward and Hattie Brown in Muskegon, and was a life resident. Mrs. White was a very dedicated teacher, teaching in various schools in the Muskegon area for over 35 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and will be missed by those who knew her kind, altruistic, and compassionate nature. She was also a member and volunteer pianist at the Church of the Brethren. On October 23, 1938 she married Jerry G. White in Angola, IN, and he preceded her in death on August 7, 1996. SURVIVORS include her three children, Karen Frisco of Muskegon Heights, Brenda (Frank) Bush of Norton Shores, Terry (Diane) White of Fruitport; 5 grandchildren, Calla Joy Hassan, Jeff White, Robin Peterson, Shelley Perysian, Joleen Bishop; numerous great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Edward Brown, Jr., and a son-in-law Thomas Frisco. A PRIVATE FAMILY GRAVESIDE SERVICE will be held at Lakeside Cemetery.
