Dorothy Ann Ciulis' Obituary
Mrs. Dorothy Ann Ciulis, age 65, passed away Friday, February 06, 2004 in Muskegon. She was born October 15, 1938 to Gerald and Elizabeth (Sherman) Davenport in Big Rapids, MI, and has lived in the Muskegon area for the past 50 years. Mrs. Ciulis spent 25 years working as a secretary at Dethloff Insurance Agency. She was a member of St. Michael The Archangel Catholic Church. In 1958, she married Michael Ciulis, and he survives her along with 2 children, Patricia (Tim) Knapp of North Muskegon, Gary Ciulis of Nashville, TN; 5 grandchildren whom she enjoyed very much; 3 sisters, Neva Metcalf and Jackie Watkins both of Big Rapids, and Sharon Green of Lake City. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother, and 3 sisters. SERVICES will be at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church on Monday, February 9, 2004 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Fr. Michael Olson officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 2-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday, February 8, 2004 at The Walburn Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 1547 W. Sherman Blvd., 231 – 759 - 8565 with a 7:00 PM ROSARY SERVICE. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
