I never really got a chance to know her as a grandma, but I know she knew me and loved my dad and his brother very much. I am sorry to my dad Scott Wallace, Bruce Fisher, and the rest of the family. Bruce & Scott....so sorry to hear about Dottie...she was like my "other" mother back in those days of the Stable! Always there for me and treated my three boys pretty good too! What a wonderful lady! Scott...do you remember driving all of us pool ladies to Muskegon and having us ask for a case of Bud Lite and 10 lbs of ice in the drive thru??? Boy what fun we had then! My deepest, heartfelt sympathies on the loss of your mother. Dottie was quite a lady! She was such a character and I have so many wonderful, funny memories of her. She and I had quite a few talks before, during and after Wayne and I bought the bar. She will always have a special place in our hearts and memories. I hope your family finds comfort in knowing that your mom was so very loved by so very many people.
God puts wonderful, strong women on this earth, such as Dottie, to bring comfort to those in need, laughter to those who need a smile and to brighten the dark days of countless souls.
Dottie was definitely one of a kind and has left her footprints on the hearts of many.

Dottie, you are one special lady, my neighbor guardian angel, my supporter, a source of encouragement. I miss you now and forever. I remember how hard Dottie worked on the perfect lawn, that bb gun effort to get rid of the geese, Charlie riding on the lawn mower with Dottie, talking back and forth from my deck to hers, Dottie heading out in the pedalboat or the pontoon, her love of family, her stories of softball playing and of her boys, and how we rescued a kitten together.
