Dorothy L. Naperalsky's Obituary
Mrs. Dorothy L. Naperalsky, age 80, passed away Monday afternoon, December 5, 2005 at her home. She was born January 20, 1925 to Victor E. and Emma (Anderson) Smith in Muskegon, and was a life resident. She attended Muskegon Heights High School, and had worked at American Coil Spring. While raising her family she sold Avon Products for several years in the Norton Shores area. Dorothy was a member of St. Francis deSales Catholic Church and the Women’s Guild of the church. For 50 years she was involved with the Children’s Nazareth League, and the Friendship Club. On May 14, 1949 she married Edward N. Naperalsky, and he survives her along with 3 children, Gary Naperalsky of S. Bend, IN, Marijo (Donald) Rislov of Milwaukee, WI, Michael (Barbara) Naperalsky of Bay City, MI; 2 grandchildren, Michael E. Naperalsky, Cassandra L. Rislov, 5 step-grandchildren, Christopher (Casey) Rislov, Nathan Rislov, Patrick (Amy) Rislov, Scott (Crystal) VanWalsum, Michael (Kelly) VanWalsum; 1 brother, Otto (Althea) Smith of Roosevelt Park; 1 sister, Beverly (Douglas) Garvey of Three Rivers; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Robert A. and Eugene E. Smith; 2 sisters, Anna LaVon Hasenbank and Betty E. Smith. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Saturday at St. Francis deSales Catholic Church, with the Rev. Fr. Thomas G. Simons presiding. Interment will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
