Dorothy L. Tomaras' Obituary
Mrs. Dorothy L. Tomaras, age 76, died early Saturday morning, November 29, 2003. She was born June 25, 1927 in Rockford, MI to Herbert and Anna (Bowkamp) Maltman and had resided in the Muskegon area for most of her life. Mrs. Tomaras worked as a cook for the Muskegon County Sheriff’s Department for over 10 years before retiring in 1991. She was a member of the Holton Evangelical Lutheran Church. She married George Tomaras, and he preceded her in death on July 18, 1971. SURVIVORS include 2 daughters, Karen (David) Flores and Eileen Tomaras; 2 sons, Steven (Audette) Tomaras and Michael Tomaras; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Donald (Dora) Maltman; and sister, Yvonne (Gerald) Fessenden. SERVICES will be 1:00 PM Tuesday at the Holton Evangelical Lutheran Church (6655 Marvin Rd., Holton, MI) with Pastor Paul Zager officiating. Burial will be in Holton-Oakwood Cemetery. VISITATION will be from 2-4 & 6-8 PM today at
