Dorothy M. Anderson's Obituary
Mrs. Dorothy M. Anderson, age 95, passed away Thursday, March 6, 2008 at the Poppen Hospice Residence. She was born May 22, 1912 in Muskegon to Peter and Louise (Peterson) Hansen. She married Edwin W. V. Anderson in Muskegon on September 6, 1937. He preceded her in death on May 18, 2000. Dorothy was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church for more than 75 years and was currently a member of Dr. Martin Luther Ev. Lutheran Church. She was also a life member of the Eastern Star, White Shrine and Amaranth. She was the co-founder and co-owner of E.W. Anderson Plumbing. Dorothy is survived by 1 son, Roger H. Anderson of Norton Shores; 2 daughters, Esther (Thomas) Block of Norton Shores and Karen Pessaro of Merritt Island, FL; 1 brother, Edwin C. (Rachel) Hansen of Fruitport; 3 sisters, Marian L. Gallup of Fruitport, Lillian (Raymond) Remus of Norton Shores and Ellen E. Gehring of Columbus, OH; 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by her son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Marlene Anderson; son-in-law, Joe Pessaro; brother, James Hansen and 2 sisters, Elsie Senf and Bernice Eggleton . The FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at Dr. Martin Luther Ev. Lutheran Church, 1860 E. Hile Rd., Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dennis Stroh officiating. VISITATION will be Monday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at
