Dorothy M. Camp's Obituary
Mrs. Dorothy M. Camp, age 85, passed away at the Poppen Residence on Saturday, November 27, 2010. She was born on August 19, 1925 to Henry and Nellie (Pettinga) Hoffius in Grand Rapids. Mrs. Camp was a member of Calvin Christian Reformed Church. She has worked at Hoffius Furniture as a secretary and in sales. She enjoyed antiquing, traveling, craft shows, sewing and enjoyed her family. On May 2, 1947 she married Walter Camp in Muskegon and he survives her along with 2 children, Mary Camp and Robert (Barbara) Camp; 5 grandchildren, Heather (Harpreet) Mangat, Heidi, Clinton, Jason, Amanda (Justin) Dieleman and great-grandson Trenton Camp; brother, Bob (Doris) Hoffius and sister-in-law, Juanita Zuder; several nieces, nephew and cousins. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be 11 AM Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at Calvin Christian Reformed Church (937 W. Norton Ave.) with Pastor John Rop officiating. VISITATION 6-8 PM Tuesday at The Walburn Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. 231-759-8565 and one hour prior to the service at church. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Calvin CRC Building Fund or Harbor Hospice would be appreciated.
