Dorothy T. (Farran) Frizzell's Obituary
Mrs. Dorothy T. (Farran) Frizzell age 91, passed away September 17, 2011 at Brookhaven. She was born on August 30, 1920 to Harrison and Grace (Ward) Maycroft in Milan, IL. She is a member of Fellowship Reformed Church. Prior to her retirement in 1981, Dorothy worked in food service for Orchard View School System for 9 years. She always enjoyed singing and her Bunco group. On November 4, 1939, Dorothy married Harold Farran in Muskegon, and he preceded her in death on May 13, 1984. SURVIVORS include 5 children, Nancy (Charles) Hawrysz, Linda (Robert) Davidson, Diane (Paul) Reeths, Janet Farran, Betty (Henry) Hall and daughter-in-law, Edna Farran; 17 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren; and brother, Ronald (Jeannie) Maycroft. Dorothy was also preceded in death by her 2nd husband, Raymond Frizzell in 1994; 3 sons and daughter-in-law, Gordon (Carol), Tom and Bob Farran, and grandson, James Hall. FUNERAL SERVICE will be 11:00 AM Thursday, September 22, 2011 at Fellowship Reformed Church with Pastors Greg VanderMeer and Jerry Worrel officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 6-8 PM Wednesday at
The Sytsema Chapel 737 Apple Ave. 231-726-5210 and one hour prior to the service at church. Burial will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. MEMORIALS to Fellowship Reformed Church Children’s Ministry Fund would be appreciated.
