Dear family,
I taught with Dorothy for about 8 yrs. at Central and the one thing I will remember is how much she loved a good belly laugh. She had some "characters"
in her room and one student we shared was named Harley (he would be in his 30s now). He was a discipline problem and he was acting up in her room one day. I walked down to give her a hand just as she firmly said, "DON'T MAKE ME GET OUT OF THIS CHAIR!!!!!" For some reason, this really scared him. I think she was always so pleasant that he knew that he had pushed the right button. Your Mom was a very nice person and I'm thinking of you guys.##imported-begin##Jean Wishka, Special Ed.
