Dottie Alice Frasure's Obituary
Mrs. Dottie Alice Frasure, age 88, passed away Saturday evening, July 3, 2010, at her home. Dottie was born April 5, 1922, in Rhinelander, WI to Joe and Edith (Aenis) Noha. Dottie married Glen Cantrall in 1940. He preceded her in death in 1980. On February 14, 1981, she married Lenis Frasure. He passed away in 1994. After 2 years of college, Dottie became a licensed practical nurse and worked at the Newberry State Hospital until 1977. Dottie enjoyed spending time with her family and making quilts and afghans. She was a member of Orchard View Congregational Church and was also affiliated with the Engadine United Methodist Church. Dottie belonged to the West Mackinac Garden Club, the Addie Rebekah Lodge, and friends of the Engadine Library. She is survived by her 3 children, Barbara (Dennis) Zeedyk , Glenn “Joe” (Joyce) Cantrall all of Muskegon, and Lauri (Sue) Cantrall of Hudson, FL; 10 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Phillip and Donald Noha, and a sister-in-law, Lila. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 2 PM Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at the Orchard View Congregational Church (2175 Marquette Ave.) with Pastor Tom Beetham officiating. VISITATION will be held Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM at The Sytsema Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Ave. 231-726-5210. INTERMENT will be in Caffey Cemetery in Rexton, MI. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to the Orchard View Congregational Church.
