Doug Suber's Obituary
Doug Suber, 84 of Crockery Township passed away peacefully on September 2nd, 2018 at St. Mary’s Hospital.
He was stationed in guadragene in the south pacific and served in the US Navy in 1954 on the 7th fleet aircraft carrier. For the last 20 years he worked delivering newspapers for the Grand Haven Tribune.
Doug was born April 28, 1934 in Flint, MI to Franklin Suber and Elevera Larson. He is survived by his wife, Barb Suber; step-children, David (Alice) Kieft and Tami (Paul) Bowne; daughters, Kimberly (Rick) Hetheringtor, and Nicole Suber; brothers, Dean Suber and Darrell (Claudette) Suber; sisters; Dortha (Buck) Pfahert and Debra (Walley) Demayer; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin and Elevera; children: Douglas, Jr, and Cheryl; brother, Dennise; sister, Dorreen Riddle; sister-in-law, Marion Suber.
