It has taken me several days to be able to post this loving tribute. My only brother was my very best friend growing up. He had the biggest heart, the best hugs and he was the best protector. I could talk to Doug about anything and he took time to listen and advise me, his only sister. I loved him and he loved me. He had the most infectious smile and grin. His eyes were devious looking, but beautiful. He always tried to act so tough, but deep inside, he was just a teddy bear. I always looked up to him. There will forever be a special place in my heart for Doug, and I will keep him safely tucked away there. R.I.P. my brother.
I attended school with Doug. He was always helpful and cheerful. The world has lost another of my classmates. May God be with the family during this difficult time.
