Mr. Douglas R. Norton, age 21, passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2012. He was born on January 4, 1991 to Brian and Collette (Durand) Norton in Grand Haven. Doug graduated from Fruitport High School in 2010. He enjoyed music, playing guitar and skateboarding. SURVIVORS include his mother, Collette Norton; father, Brian (Cynthia) Norton; sister, Nicole; brother, Robbie; grandmother, Eileen Stalec; grandfather, Robert Norton; great-great-grandfather, Milton Mockerman; 2 step-brothers; 1 step-sister and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Doug was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Stalec and grandmother, Karen Durand. A MEMORIAL GATHERING will be held with Doug’s family from 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Friday, August 31, 2012 at The Lee Chapel 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100 In remembrance of our beloved Doug memorial contributions can be directed to the family for a sibling’s trust fund.
