Douglas Allan Yonkers' Obituary
Douglas Allan Yonkers, 43, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2012 in Neenah, WI as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Born November 7, 1968, he was a life resident of the Muskegon area. Doug had been an applications engineer at SAF Holland, and had just accepted a sales engineer position with ContiTech of North America in Indianapolis, IN. He was a member of the Muskegon Motorcycle Gang, Fruitport Eagles, and Polish Union. He was an avid golfer, loved to hunt and fish and ride his motorcycles. “He always had a smile on his face”. His SURVIVORS include his fiancée Julie Jurkas; a son, Andrew Scott Yonkers; his father, Paul (Linda) Yonkers; his mother, Joan Stockli; his brother Dennis (Terri) Yonkers; niece Morgan and nephew Josh; a large extended family; and his dog, Marley. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held for Doug at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, June 14, 2012 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444, 231-798-1100 with Rev. Don Wood officiating and where VISITATION will be from 5-7 P.M. Wednesday, June 13, 2012. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS to the MMG Tragedy Fund at PNC Bank or the Fruitport Lions Club for the Wisconsin Fallen Riders would be appreciated.
