Douglas D. Gue's Obituary
Mr. Douglas D. Gue, age 64, died Wednesday, April 7, 2004 in Hudson, FL. He was born on May 11, 1939 to Earl & Emma (Graham) Gue, and had resided in the Muskegon area all his life, while wintering in Florida the past 3 years. Mr. Gue had worked in the Construction Industry for the past 30 years, retiring from Laborer’s Local #865, and was a Veteran of United States Army. On May 19, 1962 he married the former Lois Holy, and she survives him along with 5 children, Terry (girlfriend, Tina Robertson) Gue, Charles (Paula) Gue, Debra (Stephen “Todd”) Poholski, Betty (Brent) Hostetler, and Karman (Gale) Beeman, all of Muskegon; 9 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; and 1 great grand daughter; 2 sisters, Eleanor Hoffmeyer, and Betty Burrington, both of Muskegon; in-laws, George and Elvida LaVasseur of Muskegon. SERVICES will be 1 PM Wednesday at Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Ave. 231-726-5210. VISITATION with the family will be 6-8 PM Tuesday, and 1 hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
