Douglas James Sorensen's Obituary
Mr. Douglas James Sorensen, age 56, passed away Saturday afternoon, January 30, 2010. Douglas was born December 12, 1953 in Muskegon, to Louis M. and Betty (Young) Sorensen. He was a life long resident and leaves behind his mother, Betty; a brother, Mark Sorensen of Muskegon; 3 sisters, Pamela (Walter) Clark, Diana (Stan) Strach, and Karen (Jerry) Keith, all of Muskegon; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Louis, in 2006; 3 infant brothers; and his brother David in 1975. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at the Northside Bible Church ( 1937 N. Whitehall Rd) with Rev. Lowell Wood officiating. VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service, (10-11AM) Interment in Restlawn Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Michigan Parkinson Foundation or the Autism Society of Michigan.
