Duane James Boucher's Obituary
Duane James Boucher, age 77, passed away peacefully at Trinity Health – Muskegon Campus on Thursday, January 16, 2025 with his family by his side. He was married to the love of his life, Cinda Boucher and she preceded him in death August 2, 2000. They were married on March 11, 1972. He was a lifelong resident of the Twin Lake/Holton area. Duane loved wrenching on antique cars and motorcycles, particularly Harley-Davidson Motorcycles. He was a biker through and through. From the Harley drag races, motorcycle ice races, Sturgis, Daytona and Bro City cycles. He also enjoyed driving around looking for old cars to repair and fix with his brother. They attended several car shows over the years. He was a great man of many talents and adventures. He loved telling stories of the good old days, riding his motorcycle, and visiting all his old friends and family. He was always helping others from chopping wood, to plowing driveways and checking on the neighbors. He enjoyed the company of cats and working puzzles. Duane is survived by his children, Roger and Duane James Boucher Jr., several grandchildren, his sisters, Jamie Hill, Dawn Boucher, and Laura Feltner, several nieces and nephews and old friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Cinda Boucher, brothers Chris, Butch, Larry and Dean Boucher, sister Christine Garvey, and his parents Ethel and James Boucher. A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00-5:00 PM Sunday, January 26, 2025 at the Holton American Legion, 9150 Holton Road, Holton, MI 49425.
