Dylan Scott Owens' Obituary
Dylan Scott Owens, age 18, passed away Thursday, December 9, 2021. He was born January 9, 2003 in Muskegon to Francis S. and Jennifer L. (Gibson) Owens and was a lifelong resident of the area. Dylan was a graduate of Fruitport High School Class of 2019. He was employed as a sales representative for Reserve Marketing. Dylan attended Calvary Bible Church and Port City Church. Survivors include his mother, Jen Owens; his father, Scott Owens; 3 brothers, Bradley Scott, Dominick Wyatt, Robert Scott; his sister, Gianna Leyrer; grandparents, Carmen and Todd Flickinger, Mike (Anna Ryan) Gibson, Wendy Hamilton; his aunt, Julie Rhines; his cousins, Caleb, Nathan, Matthew, Maci J, Ciciliann; his girlfriend, Cheyenne Edwards; his soon to be born daughter, Delilah Mae; Cheyenne’s parents, Eddy and Christine Edwards; and dear friend, Karey Webb. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Janet and George Chandler, and Earl Rollins. A Funeral Service will be held 12:00 PM Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Port City Church – Cloverville Campus, 3387 Hts. Ravenna Road, with Pastor Mark Olsen officiating. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Tuesday at the church. Private Interment will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Memorial Contributions may be directed to his mother, Jennifer Owens, for the benefit of his unborn daughter, Delilah.
