Mrs. E. Jacquelyn "Jackie" Stark's Obituary
Mrs. Emily. Jacquelyn “Jackie” Stark, 93, passed away August 27, 2020 in Muskegon. She was born May 5, 1927 to Jacob and Catherine (VanderWall) Boerman in Hudsonville, and lived in the Muskegon area for most of her life. Jackie graduated from Hackley School of Nursing and worked as a Registered Nurse in ER and Administration at Hackley for many years. She later worked at Community Mental Health and Visitiing Nurses. She was a member of Forest Park Covenant Church, and was a former member of Calvin Christian Reformed Church. She married Charles Stark on October 21, 1972 and he preceded her in death on December 7, 1983. She is survived by 4 children, Kathlynn (Frank) Martin, Laurel Beth VanDam, Joan Carol (Thomas) Cole. Eric Charles VanDam; grandchildren, Kevin Alan (Ivoryee) Martin, Jordan Elizabeth Martin, Zachary Carl VanDam, Bethany Paige (Caleb) Detamore, Eric John VanDam, Nicholas Allan VanDam, Kyle VanDam, Melissa (Dave) Brosco; great-grandchildren, Emily Lenora Martin, Ella Mae and Payton Brosco; several step-children, step-grand and great-grandchldren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Dr. Walter Boerman and Dr. Gerald Boerman, and 1 sister, Gerita Haensel. Private family graveside services will be held. Contributions in memory of Mrs. Stark may be made to Christian Care Assisted Living. Arrangements by The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 737 E.
