Mr. Earl "Andy" Anderson Jr.'s Obituary
Mr. Earl Chester Anderson, age 89, passed away Monday, October 21, 2019. Earl was born September 13, 1930, in Muskegon to Earl and Sarah (Doctor) Anderson. He was a 1949 graduate of North Muskegon High School. On October 24, 1952, Earl “Andy” married the love of his life; the former Alice Mae Zuidema, and she preceded him in death on March 4, 2010. He worked as a printer at Shaw-Walker for nearly 40 years prior to his retirement. Andy was a longtime member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church where he had served as chairman on many boards. He also enjoyed camping and spending time with his family. Andy is survived by his children, Mary (Mark) O’Neal, Linda (David) Coffey, Nancy Anderson, and Brenda (Brian) Jacobs. Andy and Alice were also blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to Alice, Earl was preceded in death by his daughter, Sally Ott; and 2 brothers. A CELEBRATION OF LIFE LUNCHEON will be held at 12:30 PM, Wednesday, October 30, 2019, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1215 Apple Ave. in Muskegon. Burial will take place in Laketon Township Cemetery. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to Kid’s Food Basket of Orchard View or Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.
