Mrs. Edna Irene Essebaggers' Obituary
Mrs. Edna Irene Essebaggers, age 97, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2015 in Spring Lake, MI. She was born in Muskegon on April 8, 1918 to George and Phyllis (Shiel) Herlein and was a life resident of the area. On June 3, 1937, Edna married Myron C. Essebaggers and he preceded her in death in 2008. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Edna and her husband Myron enjoyed spending winters in Florida. She loved her family and especially cherished time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her two sons, Jerry M. (Pat) Essebaggers and Richard A. Essebaggers; four grandchildren, Susan (Don) Hackney, Kevin (Jessica) Essebaggers, Kurt (Luisa) Essebaggers and Marci (Ed) Kokai; two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mildred “Micky” Wiersema. In addition to her husband Myron, Edna was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Helen Musselman. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 3:30 PM on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100 with Rev. Doug VanderMolen officiating.
