Edna C. Maslowski's Obituary
A loving and caring mother and grandmother, Edna Maslowski, age 87, went to her Lord Friday, August 7, 2015. She was born October 3, 1927 in Lake Leelanau, MI to Henry and Anna Katherine Dunklow (Egler). On November 27, 1948 she married Ed Maslowski and they spent many happy years together until his passing in 1992. Edna was a devoted member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church for over 50 years. She enjoyed birds, flowers and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her. She is survived by her children, Duane (Jane) Maslowski of Lansdale, PA, Diane Blodgett (Steve Schiller) of Norton Shores, MI, Debra (Rick) Ramsay of Fort Wayne, IN; grandchildren, Scott (Amy) Maslowski, Steven (Heather) Maslowski, Christopher (Liz) Maslowski, Jason Blodgett (Mary Cauchi), Derek (Jaime) Blodgett, Matthew Ramsay, Kate (Andy) Kittelson; great-grandchildren, Kate, Ben, Justine, Mia, Hannah, Luke, Gavin, Max, Alex; sister, Dora Runge; 11 sibling in-laws, plus many nieces and nephews. Edna was preceded in death by her husband, Ed; parents and seven siblings and four sibling in-laws. VISITATION for Edna will take place at The Walburn Chapel, 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. (231-759-8565) on Monday, August 10, 2015 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm with a Rosary to be prayed at 7:00 pm. Visitation will also take place an hour prior to services at church. A FUNERAL MASS will be held at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church (2929 McCracken St.) on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at 11:00 am with Rev. Fr. Philip Salmonowicz presiding. Entombment will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery. For a more lasting tribute the family asks you to consider the American Heart Association.
