Ednamae Giangrande's Obituary
Ednamae Giangrande, age 88, passed away Friday morning, May 19, 2017. She was born July 28, 1928 in Muskegon to John and Eva (Buitendorp) Lursema. Ednamae had lived most of her life in the Muskegon area and spent 28 years residing in Bradenton, FL. She attended Wolf Lake United Methodist Church and was a member of the Red Hat Society. Ednamae also loved spending time at the Oakridge Golden Eagles Senior Center with friends and for years had been a mentor at Oakridge Elementary. SURVIVORS include 3 children: Tamra Sue (Ken) Chrysler of Muskegon, Debra Jane (Bob) Gordon of N. Muskegon, Cindy Lynn (Tim) Pastoor of Muskegon; 7 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and her best friend, Pam Bryant of Muskegon. She was preceded in death by a son, Ray Stanley Gillette, Jr; grandson, Keith Chrysler; 2 brothers; and 2 sisters. A Celebration of Ednamae’s Life will be held Saturday, June 10, 2017 from 1 – 5 PM at 61 S. Stewart St., Muskegon 49442. Entombment will take place in Egelston Twp. Cemetery. MEMORIALS to Harbor Hospice or the Oakridge Golden Eagles Senior Center will be appreciated.
