Edonna L. Norris' Obituary
Edonna LaMae Norris, age 94, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2020. She was born April 15, 1926 in Muskegon to Loren and Christine (Potts) Rust. During the war, Edonna worked for Anaconda Wire and Cable Company. She then worked for Montgomery Wards as a clerk for 13 years. On August 17, 1973, she married Clifford J. Norris in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on July 13, 2000. Edonna loved to play BINGO, do crafts, read, and take trips to the northern Michigan casinos. SURVIVORS include 2 step-sons: James Norris and John (Valarie) Norris; step-grandchildren: Ali Asher, Amber Norris Williams, and Ginn Norris; brother, Lawrence (Alice) Rust; 3 nieces: Sandra (Marvin) Frein, Susan (Thomas) Bowen, and Linda Brandel; 3 nephews: Edward Rust, David Stevens, and Jeff Stevens; and several great and great-great nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Marceal Stevens; sister-in-law, Mary Rust; and a nephew, Claude Rust. SERVICES for Edonna will be held 11:00 AM Friday, August 14, 2020 at Ravenna United Methodist Church (12348 Stafford St., Ravenna, MI 49451). VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. MEMORIALS to the American Red Cross will be appreciated.
