Edward B. Kandalec's Obituary
Mr. Edward Bartholomew Kandalec, age 93, passed away Monday, January 6, 2020 in Muskegon, Michigan. He was born in Rothbury, Michigan, the 13th child of Stephan and Anna (Kubon) Kandalec, on September 4, 1926. Ed worked for Muskegon Piston Ring for 35 years prior to his retirement. He was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Ed enjoyed hunting, fishing, and photography. He is survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Ed was preceded in death by his parents and 12 siblings, Joseph (Julia) Kandalec, Ann Kandalec, Elizabeth (Steve) Murar, Irene (Leo) Falkowski, Stephan Kandalec, Adolph Kandalec, Andrew (Irene) Kandalec, Margaret (Robert) Lutz, Ethel Kandalec, Marie Kandalec, Agnes (Victor) Kuharevicz, and Josephine “Frances” Hewitt. A FUNERAL MASS will be celebrated 11:00 AM Saturday, January 11, 2020 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church – Marian Chapel with Fr. Charles D. Hall presiding. VISITATION will be one hour prior to his service. MEMORIALS in memory of Ed may be directed to Muskegon Catholic Charities.
