Edward Francis Kuznar's Obituary
Edward Francis Kuznar, age 84, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at home, surrounded by his family. He was born on February 14, 1942, to Frank and LaRose (Seng) Kuznar and has been a lifelong resident of Muskegon. Ed was a proud family business owner and current President of Quality Tool and Stamping in Muskegon Heights, where he has spent 64 years advancing the company. In his free time, he enjoyed his family, fly fishing in Montana, and spending time at his place on the river in Hesperia. He was a proud supporter of Muskegon Catholic Central and donated to schools or local events he believed in. SURVIVORS include his children, Caroline (Lynn) Kops, Kim (Joel) Kuznar, Jean (Don) Medema, Michael (Becky) Kuznar, Matt (Camilla) Riegler, Rebecca (Bill) Matakas, David Riegler, and Andy (Alisha) Riegler; grandchildren, Lexi, Garryn, Emily, Eddie, Betsy, Sam, Lauren, Katie, Jackson, Anna, and Elliot; brother Daniel (Sheryl) Kuznar; sister Dianne (Mark) Hoofman; and also survived by Theresa Kuznar. We would also like to thank the caregivers and special friends who helped care for Ed. They will always hold a special place in our hearts. Ed was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Joanne Sandberg, and niece, Julie Balgooyen. A CELEBRATION OF LIFE for Ed will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Muskegon Catholic Central Gymnasium (1145 W. Laketon Ave.) from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
