Edward J Lisak's Obituary
Edward J. Lisak, age 88 passed away unexpectedly, Sunday afternoon, August 5, 2012 following a brief illness. He was born in Muskegon on May 16, 1924 to Walter and Stella (Kukulka) Lisak. Ed attended Muskegon Heights H.S. and was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. Mr. Lisak married the former, Irene Sturm in Muskegon on October 17, 1953. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was employed at Kaydon’s for 38 years, retiring in 1986. Ed is survived by: his wife, Irene; two daughters, Karen (Sam) Garceau of Portage, MI and Cathy Lisak of Norton Shores; one son, David (Valarie) Lisak of Norton Shores; 4 grandchildren, Tim, Rob, Eric & Amber; 2 great-grandchildren, Courtney & Caitlyn; and one sister, Eugenia Rudolph of Spring Lake. A private graveside service with Ed's son-in-law Sam Garceau officiating was held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 2:30 P.M., Tuesday, August 7, 2012.
