Mr. Edward Stanley Malinowski Sr.'s Obituary
Mr. Edward Stanley Malinowski, Sr., age 85, passed away Friday evening, June 27, 2014, at home, surrounded by his family. Edward was born March 12, 1929 in Detroit to Stanley and Jennie (Kroll) Malinowski. He married the former Jo Elaine Williams on March 17, 1949 and she preceded him in death on December 6, 1988. Ed had been employed as a cutter/grinder at Teledyne Continental for 39 1/2 years prior to his retirement in 1988. Ed was a long time member of U.A. W. Local #113. Earlier in his life, he attended St. Thomas Catholic Church. Ed enjoyed fishing and hunting, and especially loved spending time with his family. Edward is survived by his 3 children, Edward and (Joann) Malinowski Jr. of Muskegon, Cindy (Fred) Nelson of Cedar Springs, MI. and John (Julie) Malinowski of Muskegon; 6 grandchildren, Scott, Brent , Kristi, Tracy, Kaylie, and Lauren; 7 great- great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Joann (Louie) Dumas; many nieces and nephews; and dear friends, Ron and Carol Snell, and Donna Laporte. In addition to his wife of 39 years, Jo Elaine, Edward was also preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, John and Stanley; and 1 sister, Jean Malinowski. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at The Sytsema Chapel
