Edward G. "Ed" Mueller's Obituary
Edward G. “Ed” Mueller, age 51, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, June 23, 2021. He was born on February 24, 1970 to Edward and Catherine (Pattison) Mueller in Detroit, MI. He then made his way to West Michigan, where he has lived most his life. He was a proud veteran serving his country in the U.S. Army. Ed was a dedicated employee at Cannon Muskegon, where he worked as the team lead for over 10 years. On August 27, 1999 he married the love of his life, the former Christine Perri in Muskegon, MI. Together they cherished 21 years of memories filled with love and laughter. He was known to be an outdoorsman and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Ed enjoyed taking family vacations to Siesta Keys, FL, where he also partook in fishing. Above all things, he truly loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren. He will always be remembered as the world’s best grandpa! Ed was a straight shooter with most, but was balanced with a caring nature for the one’s he loved, his dogs, and Christine’s chickens. He will truly be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife, Christine Mueller; 4 children, Jesse Mueller, Alex (Meghan) Mueller, Jordan (Carter) Simpkins and Marissa Mueller; 5 grandchildren, Kade Mueller, Owen Simpkins, Weston Simpkins, Grifinn Simpkins, and Spencer Simpkins; 2 sisters, Laura (Bill) Castle and Lisa (Tom) Bush; brother, Robert Menzock; half sibings, Jonathon (Kayla) Mueller and Dawn Marie (Jody) Urbanovsky, and his favorite pups, Bruce and Beverly. He is preceded in death by his parents. A Celebration of Edward’s Life will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 from 4-7:00 PM at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S.
