Edward "Pink" L. Woodyard Jr.'s Obituary
Edward “Pink” L. Woodyard, Jr., age 70, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 17, 2019. He was born on July 21, 1949 to Edward Sr. and Elenore (Wolf) in Muskegon. Ed proudly served in the United States Navy. During the years Ed worked for CWC and then went on to work as a Maintenance Engineer for Hackley Hospital until his retirement in 2015. Ed was a vintage car buff; he loved building, restoring and showing cars. He had many trophies to prove it. Ed was a “Jack of all trades” that his family would enlist for his help in all work around the house. After meeting people, Ed was everyone’s friend. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Woodyard; children, Jack (Katrina) Woodyard, Sherry (John) Tussey, Mark (Jennifer) Evans; many grandkids and great grandkids; siblings, Gerald (Gladys) Woodyard, Betty Nye, Michelle Curtis, Roy Curtis; good friend, Bob (Ruby) Conley. He was preceded in death by his parents; former spouse, Claudia Lynne Woodyard; mother-in-law, Louise Stulp; stepdaughter, Michelle Brodin; and beloved dog, Scooter. A MEMORIAL SERVICE for Edward will take place on Friday, November 22, 2019 at The Lee Chapel of the Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St. Norton Shores, MI 49444 at 12:00 PM with visitation taking place one hour prior to services.
