Edward Robert Ruch's Obituary
Edward Robert Ruch age 78 of Ravenna, died Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at Mercy General Health Partners Mercy Campus.
Ed was born on January 15, 1931 in Ravenna, Michigan to the late Ralph R. and Margaret (Buzas) Ruch. After graduating High School he served in the United States Military. He married Gloria B. (Field) Ruch on November 12, 1955 in Ravenna, Michigan.
Ed is survived by his wife of 53 years Gloria, 2 Sons: Randy (Missy) Ruch and Dennis Ruch both of Ravenna. 1 Daughter: Brenda (Curtis) Zylstra of Coopersville. 6 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren also survive. 3 Brothers: Donald (Dottie) Ruch of Arizona, Daniel (Judy) Ruch of Coopersville and Jerry (Carole) Ruch of Ravenna. 5 Sisters: Betty (Eugene) DeVries, Ruth Stiver and Josephine Myers all of Ravenna, Gertrude (John) Levandowski of Alma and Mary (Charles) Hayford of Muskegon.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will be at the Throop Funeral Home of Ravenna on Thursday, August 13, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00pm to receive friends.
Memorials may be directed to Harbor Hospice.
