Tim Marshall
I first met Fast Eddy at the Harrison demolition derby in the late 70's, I think it was around the 4th of July. We became good friends. I think it was his sense of humor and some of the things we had in common. Ed was always generous and willing to give a helping hand. He shared his home with me and my family whenever we were on the Westside of the state. I will always cherish the great memories we made together.
One of the funniest memories we had together was when we went to the state championship demolition derby together. It was raining outside and everything was muddy, including us and our clothes. We were staying at a real fancy hotel $$$. You know, the kind with marble floors and a piano in the lobby. Ed and I headed to the elevator all mudded up, where three gents all dressed up asked us what our trophy was for. Ed piped up and said BEST DRESSED! I still laugh about that. It's one of those memories were you had to be there.
Ed will truly be missed. I was lucky to have such a great Westside friend. Sandy, Liz and Em - you are in our prayers. We love you guys!
Your Eastside friends,
Tim & Grace Marshall and Family
