Edward D. Speech Sr's Obituary
Mr. Edward D. Speech Sr, age 58, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, April 30, 2021. He was born on August 1, 1962 to Edgar and Marzella (Miller) Speech in Muskegon. Eddie worked at Mercy Hospital as a Service Assistant for over 10 years. He was a football coach at Port City and enjoyed spending his time fishing, listening to music, and barbequing for friends and family. Eddie loved being the life of the party and was known for his funny quips and out-going personality. Eddie is survived by his children, Lakiesha Speech, Darekeo Speech, Latasha Speech and Edward (Nyssah) Speech Jr; 11 grandchildren; brothers, Greg Speech, Sheldon Speech, and Zachary Speech; sisters, Vanessa Miller, Gwendolyn Speech, and Kathy Speech. He was preceded in death by his parents and three children. A Funeral Service will be held 11AM on Tuesday, May 4 at Kingdom Embassy Covenant Church (3025 Glenside Blvd., Muskegon 49441) with Pastor Arthur Duren Sr officiating. A LIMITED SIZE Visitation with the family will take place on Monday, May 3 from 6-8PM at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 737 E.
