Edward A. Johnson, Sr.'s Obituary
Mr. Edward A. Johnson, Sr., age 53, passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 11, 2009 as the result of a boating accident on Spring Lake. He was born May 28, 1956 in Grand Haven to Eugene and Betty (Wellman) Johnson and lived in the area all of his life. He worked in maintenance at Automatic Spring Products Corporation in Grand Haven. Ed took great pride in his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and was a member of the Bitely Boys Motorcycle Club. He was also a member of the Grand Haven Eagles. SURVIVORS include his 3 children, Ed (Amber) Johnson, Jr., of Muskegon, Nick Johnson of Fruitport, Andrea (Harold) Meisch of Whitehall; 3 grandchildren, Austyn and BrookLynn Meisch, Hailey Jo Johnson; his parents, Eugene and Betty Johnson of Fruitport; 2 brothers, Eugene “Denny” (Rhonda) Johnson of Fruitport, Richard (Jenny) Johnson of Fruitport; 3 sisters, Judy Johnson of Grand Haven, Josy (Larry) Augustson of Grand Haven, and Lois (Joe) Watts of Fruitport; his girlfriend, Barbara Briggs and her daughter, Nancy Briggs.
