Edward "Ed" Joseph Bundza's Obituary
Mr. Edward “Ed” Joseph Bundza, age 81, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2010 at Harbor Hospice Poppen Residence. He was born February 11, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois and spent his childhood residing in the Ludington area before moving to Muskegon in 1953. Ed was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked as a plant manager for 25 years at E. H. Sheldon & Co. and later worked for Clarke Floor Machine and Atmosphere Processing retiring in 1987. On July 27, 1957, he married the former Elsie Mae Iacopetti in Muskegon and she preceded him in death in 1998. Ed attended Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. SURVIVORS include 1 daughter, Carmen (Scott) Buchan; special friend, Mary Hester and her family, including Dave and Angie Moulds; and many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister, Ann Puisis and nephew, John Puisis, Jr. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 6:00 PM Friday, January 29, 2010 at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 6291 S. Harvey Street, (231) 798-1100, with Rev. Fr. Michael P. Olson presiding. Ed’s family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service, 5:00-6:00 PM at the funeral home.
