Carol, Jeremy and Nikki - I am very saddened to know that I will not be hearing Ed's voice on the phone every other Wednesday calling me at work to remind me of lunch the follow day at G&L on Sternberg, along with my cousin Mike - something that the three of us have been doing for years that go as far back as, well - not sure really when we started that tradition! It was just a block or two away from where he used to work there at Centron Data Services - and years before that even we were getting together. During our every other Thursday hotdog meetings, he was always trying to get me involved with one thing or another - Fish Fry's, Pound Puppies, raking leaves, shoveling driveways - on and on. He never seemed to be in a down mood no matter how much I tended to hassle him about one thing or another - even visiting him at Mary Free Bed in December I am pretty sure I gave him a hard time - thinking that he would come out of this ok. Carol, Jeremy and Nikki, I am so very sorry. Through his faith and trust in God though, I do hope and pray that that the angels carry him through to a an awesome and eternal life with our Lord and Savior - Jesus Christ!
