Edwin S. Macomber's Obituary
Mr. Edwin S. Macomber, age 82, passed away Tuesday afternoon, July 18, 2006 in Muskegon. He was born August 4, 1923 to Spencer E. and Lillian (Kursyna) Macomber in Owosso, MI, and moved to the Muskegon area in 1943. Ed was a member of St. Francis deSales Catholic Church and had worked at Wolverine Express for 32 years before retiring. He was preceded in death by his wife, Avonell Marie (Holey) Macomber on August 20, 1993. SURVIVORS include 2 sons, Danny S. (Barbara) Macomber of Whitehall and Edwin F. Macomber of Muskegon; 1 brother, Benny (Louise) Macomber of Muskegon. He was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, CJ Macomber and Robert Macomber; and 1 sister, Mary M. Macomber. THE MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated at 11:00 am Friday at St. Francis deSales Catholic Church, Marian Chapel, with the Rev. Fr. Thomas G. Simons presiding.
