Mr. Efren Velasquez's Obituary
Efren was born in San Antonio, Texas on August 28, 1931. He moved to Michigan at a young age, where he met and married the former Lupe Santellan. Together they were blessed with three daughters, Linda (Jeff) Velasquez, Lucy (Dave) Velasquez and Lynn (Bruce) Dempkey. Efren was blessed with 6 grandchildren; Aireal and Laura Velazquez, Steele (Devonne) Vanas, Vincent (Alisha) Vanas, Treasure (Noah) Dempkey, and Lance Dempkey. He also enjoyed his 8 great-grandchildren. Efren worked at CWC (Plant 1) for 30 years. He was very loyal and a hard worker. He retired at a young age and enjoyed going antique shopping with his second wife the former Ruth Ward whom he joins in heaven. He always enjoyed playing cards with his family and friends and watching a good old classic movie. He will be missed by many including his Santellan family, a few old co-workers from CWC and his favorite faces at “Rositias” Restaurant
