Eileen M. Dunn's Obituary
Mrs. Eileen M. Dunn, age 91, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2016 in Muskegon. She was born on September 13, 1924 in Bellmore, Ohio to John and Ruth (Wolford) Myers and had lived in the Muskegon area for over 50 years. Eileen married Daniel J. Dunn on December 2, 1943 in Toledo, Ohio and he preceded her in death in 1984. She was a secretary for Gerber Products prior to retiring in 1969. Eileen was a longtime member of Olivet Evangelical Free Church, where she was a member of the Ladies Circle. She also was an auxiliary member of the DAV in both Muskegon and in Florida. For many years Eileen enjoyed ceramics and crafts and sold them at many different DAV fundraisers. SURVIVORS include her children, Daniel (Ruth) Dunn and Lawrence (Sharon) Dunn; 10 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and 1 sister, Jean Henderson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Eileen was also preceded in death by her son, Thomas; her sister, Bonnie Chedster; and her 3 brothers, Floyd, Paul and Ervin. The FUNERAL SERVICE will be held Saturday at 1 PM at Olivet Evangelical Free Church, 6790 Harvey St, with Pastor Craig Cramblet officiating. VISITATION will be held 12noon -1 PM at church.
