Eileen Marie Miller's Obituary
Mrs. Eileen M. Miller, 74, passed away January 27, 2024, in Muskegon. She was born August 18, 1949, in Ludington to Vernon F. and Mildred C. (Kubitza) Rich and moved to the Muskegon area in 1954. Eileen worked for several years at the Grand Rapids Press, and more recently for the North Muskegon Public Schools. She had an Associate’s degree from Grand Rapids Community College and two diplomas from Davenport College as well. One for Executive Assistant – Medical and another for Medical Coding Specialist. She also made the dean’s list numerous times. Eileen enjoyed dancing, hiking, spending time at the beach and spending time with her family. She is survived by three children: Kip (Julie) Miller, Rochelle (James) Nickle, Scott Miller; and her grandchildren: Grace Miller, Kellen Miller, Rory Miller, Raina Nickle, Lucas Nickle, and Finn Nickle; siblings: John (Victoria) Rich, Cheryl (Frank) Blackmer, Theresa (John) Vaughn, Vern (Mary) Rich, Sandra Rich, Mark (Minda) Rich, Brian (Debbie) Rich, Dennis (Karen) Rich. She was preceded in death by her father Vernon on May 28, 2011, and her mother Mildred on March 15, 2015. A service to remember and celebrate Eileen’s life will be held Monday, February 5, 2024, at 11:00 AM at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at Norton Cemetery. Contributions in memory of Mrs. Miller may be made to The Kids’ Food Basket, or Every Woman's Place.
