Ejner J. Gotberg's Obituary
Mr. Ejner J. Gotberg, age 97, passed away Friday afternoon, October 26, 2007. He was born May 5, 1910 in Osceola County, MI to Charles and Augusta “Mary” (Johnson) Gotberg and had resided in Muskegon since 1998. Mr. Gotberg earned his Certificate in Engineering from GM Tech in 1934, and worked for Automotive Pattern in Detroit for 30 years before retiring. He was a member of Faith Covenant Church in Farmington Hills for 75 years and attended Forest Park Covenant Church here in Muskegon. On May 25, 1935 he married the former Hazel Johnson in Detroit and she preceded him in death in November of 1984. SURVIVORS include 3 children, Gordon (Nadia) Gotberg of Muskegon, Janet (Val) Spangler of Mountain View, California, Claire (Ray) Schlaff of Montague; 8 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Tuesday at Forest Park Covenant Church (3815 Henry St.) with Rev. Paul Bengtson officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Memorial Cemetery, Livonia, MI. VISITATION with the family will be from 6-8 PM Monday at
