Elaine M. Black's Obituary
Mrs. Elaine M. Black, 79, passed away Monday evening, September 21, 2015. She was born October 14, 1935 in Kindy, MI to James and Clara (Brown) Wooster, and married Charles Black in Detroit on November 26, 1954. He died April 13, 2001. Mrs. Black was a member of the Muskegon Church of Christ. Her SURVIVORS include two daughters: Cindy (John) Maans of Hersey, MI and Robin (David) Tucker of Holland; six granddaughters: Sara Smith, Holly (Eric) Mercer, Heather (Biorky) Gonzales, Rebecca (Nick) Schoenborn, Megan (Eric) Newton, and Brianna (Andrew) Santellan; ten great-grandchildren; two brothers: Keith and Ken Wooster; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and sisters, her husband, and a great-grandson Charles Smith. Elaine was an avid reader, who enjoyed helping to maintain the library at Christian Care Assisted Living while she lived there. A CELEBRATION OF LIFE SERVICE will be held for Elaine Black at 11:00 A.M. Friday, October 9, 2015 at Muskegon Church of Christ, 3164 Marquette Ave., with Pastor David Tucker officiating. VISITATION with the family will be at a luncheon following the service. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS to the Christian Care Assisted Living Library Fund would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
