Elaine J. Bradford's Obituary
Elaine J. Bradford, age 86, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2021, in Traverse City, MI. She was born on July 27, 1934 to Fred and Violet (Redmond) Bently in Flint, MI. A kind, loving sister in Christ who delighted in the Lord. She always saw the good in people! Elaine trained in sign language for hearing impaired coworkers at GM where she worked for 33 years. After retirement, she moved to Grand Haven, taking up painting as a hobby. Her favorite subjects were butterflies, birds and flowers. Elaine used her art to make cards, many of which were sent to family and friends. She was active at her church in bible studies, visiting and calling shut-ins and those recovering from surgery or illness. Elaine is survived by her daughter, Sherry McMorris, sons, Barry (Diane) Bradford and David Bradford, grandchildren, Ryan McMorris, Bree (Chris) Ayala, and Emily Bradford, (who all got a kick out of her gifts of hand towels sent for various occasions), Dear sister, Joyce Martyn, and many nieces and nephews and their families. Elaine was preceded in death by three other sisters. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
