Elaine J. (Dukes) Buys' Obituary
Elaine Joyce (Dukes) Buys of Muskegon, went to be with her Lord on Friday, November 19, 2021 at the age of 94. She was born December 29, 1926 in Hart, MI to Wren and Auta (Meyers) Dukes. Elaine worked for Zephyr Oil Naph-Sol Refinery for 14 years prior to her retirement and once a year would meet for dinner with a close group of work friends to stay connected. She was a member of Laketon Bethel Reformed Church and loved to go camping with family and friends. Elaine was also a great cook. She was a very kind and considerate person with a loving heart. SURVIVORS include 3 sons: Ted (Cheryl) Love, Gordon (Pam) Love, and Mark (Kathi) Love; grandchildren: Heather Love, Brandon (Saren) Love, Jenny (Ian) Graham, Megan (Brad) Love-Dalek, Chelsea and Halley Love; great-grandchildren: Hannah, Aubrey, Gabriel, and Nolan Love, Owen Graham, Isla and Poppy Dalek; sister-in-law, Nancy Dukes; and a niece, Kay Patton. She was preceded in death by a son, Larry Love; husbands: Kenneth Love, James Lineberry, and Russell Buys; siblings, Billy, Marlin, Vivian, and Ardith; and a niece, Betty Klomp. A celebration of Elaine’s life will be held 11:00 AM Friday, June 16, 2023 at Laketon Bethel Church. Burial will take place in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
