Elaine H. Danielson's Obituary
Elaine Helen Danielson of Muskegon, Michigan passed away at her son’s home in Granger, Indiana, on April 5, 2024, at the age of 96. She was born on December 18, 1927, to Herman and Evelyn (Meyer) Brandt, both of whom preceded her in death. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Clifford Bartels, her second husband, Albert Danielson, and her great-granddaughter, Ariel Snyder. She is survived by her children: Linda (Chuck) Powers, of Spring, Texas, near Houston, and David (Valerie) Bartels of Granger, Indiana; her grandchildren: Michaela (David) Giddings, Kenneth Bartels, and Michelle Bartels; six great-grandchildren: Spencer and Justin Giddings, and Kaden, Skyler, Bryce, and Amira Snyder; three siblings: Betty Fischer, Jim (Joyce) Brandt, and Marilyn Palkowski; and many nieces and nephews. Elaine was a charter member of Westwood Reformed Church and enjoyed singing in the choir, teaching Sunday School, and helping in many other ways. She graduated from Muskegon Business School and worked for many years at Muskegon Radiology. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Unity Reformed Church, 1521 Porter Rd. Norton Shores, MI., 49441, with VISITATION taking place an hour prior. In lieu of flowers the family asks that Memorial Contributions be made out to Muskegon Rescue Mission or Unity Reformed Church.
