Elaine Marie Dodde's Obituary
Elaine Marie Dodde (VanderMyde) age 73 of Conklin, MI died Sunday, July 1, 2018 at Faith Hospice-Trillium Woods in Byron Center, MI.
Elaine was born on September 24, 1944 in Chicago, IL to the late Henry and Catherine E. (Laverman) VanderMyde. She married Randall M. Dodde on April 13, 1966 and he preceded her in death on October 15, 1992. Elaine was a beautician for many years.
Elaine is survived by: 2 Sons: Todd (Sue) Dodde of Conklin and Steve (Mindy) Dodde of Allendale. 4 Grandchildren, Rachel, Spencer, Michael and Emily. 2 Brothers: Henry (Sharon) VanderMyde of Comstock Park, MI and John (Kathy) VanderMyde of Greenville. 2 Sisters: Carol Dogger of Holland and Joanne Black of Trufant. Brother and sister in laws, Bob (Barb) Dodde, Rex (Penny) Dodde, Lucy Dodde and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Randall.
Funeral Services for Elaine M. Dodde will be conducted on Friday, July 6, 2018 at 11:00am at the First Reformed Church in Ravenna with Pastor Steve VanderWoude officiating. Burial will be in McNitt Cemetery.
The family will be at the First Reformed Church on Thursday, July 5, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and again on Friday 1 hour prior to the service.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
