Elaine M. Madison's Obituary
Elaine Marie Madison, age 89, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2020 of COVID-19. She was born March 6, 1931 in Muskegon, MI to Casimir and Olive (Adams) Bush. On December 30, 1955, she married Peter “Jack” Madison and he preceded her in death on December 16, 2018. Elaine worked numerous positions in the Muskegon area prior to her retirement from Horizon Group as an accountant. She was a member of MAWN (Muskegon Area Women’s Network) and a past member of ASWA (American Society of Women Accountants). She enjoyed traveling, lunches with friends, and family gatherings. SURVIVORS include her son, Peter Madison of Roosevelt Park; 2 step-sons: David (Lynn) Madison of Spring Lake and Wayne Madison of Madison, Wisconsin; 5 grandchildren: Matthew Madison, Todd Madison, Christopher Madison, Matt Bush, and Sara West,; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Beverly Forbear of Norton Shores; former daughter-in-law, Elaine Madison; and many nieces and nephews. Elaine was also preceded in death by her grandson, Troy Madison; step-daughter-in-law, Mali Madison; brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Betty Bush. A Graveside Service will be held for Elaine at 11:00 AM Friday, September 3, 2021 at Norton Cemetery with Rev. Kenneth Babcock officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the charity of your choice.
